1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to online language training services provided by Katia Bukina via www.learnwithkatia.com.
2. Services
Training sessions are conducted online by videoconference, and are available to clients based in Luxembourg, the EU, or internationally.
3. Booking & Registration
Clients can register for courses via online forms or by email. Bookings are confirmed only after payment has been received.
4. Prices
All prices are shown in euros. VAT may apply depending on your location and Katia Bukina’s fiscal status. Pricing details are always provided before registration.
5. Payment
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or any other method offered. An invoice is issued and sent by email.
6. Duration of service
The client has 12 months from the date of payment to use the purchased lessons.After this period, any unused lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled.
In the event of serious force majeure or illness duly documented by a medical certificate, which prevents the client from taking the lessons within the allocated time, the validity period may be extended for a duration equivalent to the impediment, subject to supporting documentation and our prior written approval.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The student may cancel or reschedule a lesson by notifying the teacher in writing (email or message) at least 24 hours in advance.
If case of any cancellation made less than 24 hours before, the scheduled lesson will be charged in full.
In the event of permanent cancellation of lessons not yet taken, the deposit is non-refundable.
It is retained as compensation for loss of earnings, particularly due to other potential bookings that may have been declined to other clients.
8. Liability
a.Learning Responsability
We will make all reasonable efforts to support the student in achieving their language learning goals.
However, our obligation is one of means, not of result: the student remains responsible for their own progress.
b.Technical Responsibility
The client (or trainee) is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technical equipment (computer, stable internet connection, required software, etc.) to guarantee the smooth running of the lessons
9. Intellectual Property
All learning materials provided during training are protected by copyright. Reproduction or sharing without permission is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Luxembourgish law. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Luxembourg.
